Visit our quaint country market overlooking the Bay of Quinte. We will be selling our own crisp apples, frozen fruits and home-baked maple products including crisps, muffins and maple flavoured caramel apples. Pop in and enjoy a cup of our hot apple cider while browsing through our quaint country store. Bring the kids and visit Sophie our golden retriever and Mac our big marmalade cat. Our winemaker Keith Tyers is bringing back his delicious maple inspired pairing: Chardonnay with Lobster Mac and Cheese made with Black River Maple Cheddar, fine artisan cheddar and Prince Edward County’s pure maple syrup. You can also try it with our new release the 2015 Closson Chase K.J. Watson Pinot Gris VQA Four Mile Creek.
The cost of the wine tasting and pairing is $5. All proceeds will be donated to the Storehouse Foodbank.
The Grange is the exclusive supplier of Sapsucker Maple water in PEC and we will be pairing free samples of this delicious maple water with classic johnnycake being cooked over the fire in our tasting room. We will also be serving glasses of warm mulled wine to be enjoyed in front of the fire.

All day brunch at Trail Estate Winery! Enjoy piping hot, freshly made Ice Riesling-infused French Toast, fresh fruit and maple cream all day long (or until we run out!). Weather permitting, hike or snowshoe our vineyards to the Millennium Trail! (Shoe rental avail. for $10 (limited qty; reservation preferred)).
This will be their first annual “Maple in the County” event held at their farm to help raise money for their not-for-profit organization. Heal with Horses is an equine-assisted therapy and learning center that utilizes horses, small social animals and nature to bring about positive change in children and adults who struggle with any variety of neuropsychiatric, physical, emotional and/or behavioral issues. Owner, Suzanne Latchford-Kulker, will be there to introduce their special horses while explaining the many benefits of equine therapy.
To further make your visit to this unique farm a special, fun packed family day, there will be pony rides, “Kristi’s portable petting zoo” and many little mini piggy’s squealing about. In addition, there will be variety of local artisanal vendors selling everything from home crafted preserves and jams to handmadetextiles and family apparel. To keep us warm, there will naturally be loads of handmade baked maple treats, organic maple cotton candy, maple baked beans, Nyman’s famous maple pork and maple chicken sausages on a bun and hot apple cider! We use Nyman’s maple syrup for all of our maple needs which will be available for sale.
Serving Maple Apple Cake with Maple Glazed Pecans, plus recipes and tastings featuring Kingston Olive Oil Company’s Maple Vinegar and other various olive oils.
Visit us at the beautiful Cooper-Norton farm for our first Maple in the County event. We will have delicious food all day Saturday and Sunday courtesy of Black Sheep Cannery in the warmth of our historic Oast House barn.
We will be featuring traditional food of the 1800’s using our unique Whisky barrel aged Maple Syrup.
Stay warm with a special hot Du Bois Maple Syrup based cocktail. Distillery open house for all to visit and see where it all happens. Sample any of our products in the tasting room. Shop for antiques in our historic Victorian second empire Cooper house. Homemade tarts, jams and more from Black Sheep Cannery.
For the kids (and kids at heart) hot cocoa and marshmallow roast in the company of our resident heritage free run chickens, turkeys and petting lambs. Hiking or snow-shoeing on our 80 acre farm is encouraged.
Our 1,500 tap maple bush is located down the road off Highway 1.
